I first met Emily and Jon last Fall when I took pictures for their Engagement Session at Federal Hill in Baltimore, MD. I saw them again in August to shoot their wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. The ceremony was held outside on the pier overlooking the harbor and reception followed inside at the museum. The museum had to be one of the most unique and interesting places to shoot a wedding — it had all kinds of fun setups, to include an old-style movie theater, a steamboat and a whole ton of old neon signs! Check out some of the photos from the great day below.
Wedding of Erin and Justin — June 2014
I had the great pleasure of photographing Erin and Justin exchange their vows this past June at the Calvery United Methodist Church in Annapolis, Maryland. After the ceremony we got some great pictures throughout the city of Annapolis, including several shots by the harbor. Following the pictures, Erin and Justin had their reception at the Loews Hotel.
2014 AFA Cycling Classic
For NCR Pix, I was able to shoot the 2014 Air Force Association Cycling Classic that took place this past weekend from Saturday June 7th through Sunday the 8th, 2014. Riders of all ages and skill levels took to the streets of Clarendon and Crystal City in Arlington County, Virginia. Multiple different races took place over the weekend to include the Clarendon Cup, Crystal City Cup, as well as the Challenge Ride, which consisted of “a 16.5km circuit in and around the Pentagon, Crystal City and the Air Force Memorial”. The weekend’s events also included two kids-focused races that took place in Clarendon and Crystal City; however, you could see many kids taking up the challenge and participating in the “Challenge Ride” with their parents. Learn more about the race by visiting the Air Force Association Cycling Classic website.
DC Kastles Home Opener
Again shooting for NCR Pix, I was able to get some photos of the The Washington Kastles, D.C.’s professional tennis team, when they defeated the New York Sportimes in their first game of the 2013 season. It was a sold out crowd on Monday night and the Kastles impressed all in attendence, including First Lady Michelle Obama, defeating New York’s team 23 to 15. This was no normal win either for the Washington Kastles, with this win they tied the Los Angeles Lakers for the Sports Winning Streak Record in the United States — this was their 33rd straight win.
