I specialize in Wedding, Journalism and Sports photography; however, I have worked on a number of other projects involving landscape and portrait photography.

Wedding Photography:

My approach to photographing weddings meshes pretty well with my other passion in photography, which is photojournalism.  I like to tell a couples’ story and there is no better approach in my opinion than the photojournalistic style.  The formal portraits of the bride/groom, bridesmaids and groomsmen are of course all in there as well and I love taking these pictures just as much — capturing the uniqueness of each group that comes together in front of my lens.

For pricing, please contact me via e-mail or the contact form on this website — I first like to work with a couple to find out their needs and to see what is in their budget.  I try my best to work with any budget, as no couple should go without photographs of their special day.  For Military and First Responders (Police, Fire, EMS),  I offer an automatic 10% discount on whatever I quote for a wedding.

Photojournalism:

I cover special events around the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area to include sports, political functions, plays/musicals, special celebrations (parades, rallies, etc) and various other events in the area for NCR Pix, an online photojournalism magazine.  If you have an upcoming event that falls into one of these categories and would like media coverage, check out the website and visit the contact page to request coverage.

Sports:

I absolutely love shooting sporting events, whether it be for NCR Pix or a private shoot, the shot of a quarterback throwing the touchdown pass, the center forward sweeping past the goalie to score the winning goal, or a golfer striking the ball for their longest drive — these shots make for some of the best photographs.  Whether you are in grade school, high school, college or you’re a professional athelete, I’d be honored to take pictures of you and/or your team playing.
