Students perform a Rendition of Sweeney Todd

Throughout this weekend Students of the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music at Catholic University will be performing a rendition of Sweeney Todd. Stephen Sondheim’s masterpiece musical thriller tells the tale of the unjustly exiled barber who returns to 19th century London seeking revenge against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. His thirst for blood soon expands to include his unfortunate customers, and the resourceful proprietress of the pie shop downstairs soon has the people of London lining up in droves with her mysterious new meat pie recipe!

Faith & Family Foundation Host Dinner and Movie Under the Stars

This past weekend, International Irish Tenor Mark Forrest hosted a Dinner & Movie Under the Stars event for the Faith & Family Foundation he operates. The Faith & Family Foundation is a non-profit that helps families with special needs children. The organization lends out special needs equipment such as customized strollers and bikes.
The dinner was attended by numerous families and friends. A huge buffet was provided along with a showing of “Bee Movie” starring Jerry Seinfeld. Afterwards there was a huge fireworks show above the lake nearby Mr. Forrest’s home. To see all of the photos from the event, click here.
CUA Cardinals Score a Win for Homecoming

In CUA’s Homecoming game, the Cardinals defeated the Generals, leading the team to a 5-1 Record. During the half-time festivities, seniors Joshua Baum and Liz Madio were crowned the Homecoming King and Queen. To see all the photos from the game and the half-time events click here.
